In the month of October, Carnival brings Halloween to the fleet! You’re about to discover a spooktacular experience aboard a Carnival Cruise. All Carnival ships will be taking Halloween to a new level with their “Frightfully Fun” theme. October sailings will include Halloween activities for kids and those who want to be like kids.
Patch the Pumpkin Pirate will be debuted during the festivities; he is described by the company as “a colorful swashbuckling seafarer who towers 12 feet tall and greets guests as they board each ship”. Patch will also be part of the onboard “Frightfully Fun” themed activities. Kids will enjoy Scary Story Time with Patch and the Cruise Director aboard each vessel. To ensure that kids don’t miss out on the Halloween sugar rush, there will also be trick or treating for guests of all ages to gather treats from costumed crew members at various venues throughout the ship.
Other Halloween themed events aboard each vessel include Thriller dance classes, Patch’s Deck Party, Halloween-themed trivia and bingo, and pumpkin-carving contests. They will also be showing Dive-In Movies at the poolside; some films are scary (and not so scary) like Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, Dracula Untold and It. On the food and beverage side, they have also amped up their offers with tasty Halloween treats and custom libations like Witches Brew and the Green Goblin.
To conclude the ‘spooktacular’ events, there will be a costume contest which will of course have prizes!
